The MARS (Mini Anchor Rear Support) is a must have product for any shooter who likes to use a tripod as a rear support. The MARS rest gives the shooter a 4 inch platform to build a quick, rock solid shooting position on.

Anyone who has used the tripod as a rear support knows that getting the leg placed exactly right, is one of the biggest issues you face when using the tripod. The MARS has a 4 inch rear shelf, that eats up this placement error and allows you to quickly build a position, without having to waste time making slight adjustments to the tripod.

The MARS rest quickly and easily slides up and down your tripod leg. When you move the MARS rest it stays parallel to the ground giving you the ability to also traverse right and left to easily engage targets. You can also manipulate the MARS rest to pivot around your tripod leg to help you adjust and build your position as well transition to other targets.

Sizing for your tripod

To ensure you get the proper size. You need to determine the size of your widest tripod leg. We recommend you round up to the next closest size. Having it fit snug is better than loose. In addition you MARS rest works well on your next smallest leg which on average is about 4mm smaller than your largest leg. Fit will be obviously looser but still usable. Its Recommended that you buy the correct size for each leg in order to have a rock solid fit.

5 of 5 So unbelievably SOLID!!! July 9, 2024
Reviewer: Richard Senn from Virginia Beach, VA United States
I got to try this at a couple of points in the design process...and this allows the shooter to get unbelievably stable with only a few minor adjustments that are very quick.  I need to practice with it more, but if it helps me pick up an impact here and there I normally miss, it gives me another tool to move up in the final positions!

5 of 5 Simplicity July 9, 2024
Reviewer: Kenneth Gage from Chesapeake Virginia
This is a complete game changer with my rear support. I have been playing with this for over a week. The simplicity and thought out design makes it a go to for and tripod usage. It stable. The fit to my two vets qdt 2 was perfect. It allows for an easy slide up and down the leg and once you’re in position it’s rock solid.

5 of 5 MARS easy!! July 9, 2024
Reviewer: Derek Heinrich from Kill devil hills, NC United States
With the new MARS tripod support there’s much less fumbling trying to get your rear support set just right. The ease of use and quick adaptability for different positions makes this an essential tool to make solid positions quickly. I was lucky enough to be a tester and see a few phases of design and they nailed the design. I’m a minimalist when it comes to bags and accessories but this will be a go to tool.

5 of 5 Great gear addition! July 9, 2024
Reviewer: ROBERT ORMOND from FUQUAY VARINA, NC United States
The MARS adds the ability to move and adjust height quickly through a stage while also holding your rifle in the rear even without a hand there. A much better option than having to have your hand there holding the butt of the rifle. This will definitely be a permanent part of my match gear I carry.

5 of 5 Amazing Product July 9, 2024
Reviewer: Warren Sager from Amissville , VA United States
All I can say is wow.  I was lucky to be a prerelease tester for this new MARS rest.  In the past I have tried to use a rear tripod for support, but it was always awkward and never seemed to work out. without fighting to make a position. With this new rest I am able to quickly and easily get into position.  Having the rest on the tripod allows me to slide it up and down and get settled in.  This thing is rock solid and I can tell you now that I plan on using a rear tripod a lot more going forward
